BIG WALK Crane Button Puzzle: Stack Players and Get the Red Blob

Find the yellow crane near the starting beach, stack two players to hit its high button, then deliver the dropped red blob to the Red Drawbridge receiver.

Direct solution

From the starting base, go forward and turn right to the yellow crane. Have one player sit or crouch directly below the high button while a second player jumps onto their head, then jumps again to press it. Pick up the red blob that drops. At the Red Drawbridge station, one player holds the first yellow button while the other inserts the blob into the first matching container; release only after the blob is seated.

Where to go

Leave the starting base, continue forward through the beach-side rocks, then look right for the tall yellow crane or scaffolding frame. The red blob hangs from its upper arm.

Before you start

  • Bring at least two players; the high button is designed for a body stack.
  • Keep both players together until the red blob reaches the Red Drawbridge receiver.
  • Choose who will be the stable base and who will be the jumper before stacking.

Find the yellow crane to the right of spawn

Walk forward from the starting base, then angle right through the rocks until the tall yellow crane comes into view.

A red blob is suspended from the crane arm and a small button sits high on the vertical frame.

Line up below the high button

Stand both players on the flat ground directly beneath the button. Ignore the hanging red blob for now; the button is the release control.

Looking straight up should place the small green-lit button above the group.

    Make a stable two-player stack

The base player sits or crouches and stays still. The jumper gets close, jumps onto the base player’s head, and pauses until their feet settle.

The jumper remains balanced above the base instead of sliding back to the ground.

Jump once more and press the button

From the top of the stack, jump again and interact with the high button. The base must stay still until the press registers.

Confetti fires and the red blob drops from the crane to ground level.

Carry the red blob to the drawbridge station

Pick up the dropped red blob and take it to the Red Drawbridge crown puzzle station. Do not leave it beside the crane; the crane only releases the piece.

At the receiver you can see the row of yellow hold-buttons and shaped containers.

Hold the first button and insert the blob

Player one holds the first yellow button beside the containers. While it stays held, player two places the red blob into the first matching slot, then signals that the holder can release.

The red blob remains seated in its container after the button holder lets go.

Player-count plan

2 players

Verified route: one player is the seated base, the other jumps and presses. Reuse the same pair as button holder and blob carrier at the receiver.

3-4 players

Public previews report that the button height scales with the active group. Keep extra players in the body stack instead of waiting beside it; the pinned clip directly demonstrates only the two-player version.

Common mistakes

  • Throwing loose objects at the crane button instead of stacking players.
  • The base walks or stands while the jumper is trying to settle on their head.
  • Collecting the red blob but leaving it at the crane instead of taking it to the drawbridge receiver.
  • Releasing the receiver button before the second player finishes inserting the blob.

How to recover

  1. 1.If the jumper slides off, move to flatter ground, make the base crouch first, then jump from close range.
  2. 2.If the blob is hard to find after the press, search directly beneath the crane arm where the confetti fired.
  3. 3.If the blob will not stay in the receiver, remove it, have the holder press the first button again, and insert only while the light is active.
