Where to go
The hoop is at approximately 3830, 1560 in the forest southeast of Red Tower, close to the 3740, 1620 heavy-ball relay. Look for a tall circular hoop with a vertical progress display and loose glowing lanterns nearby.
Use the nearby lanterns as basketballs, throw them down through the forest hoop, and watch the visible meter after every clean score.
Go to map coordinates 3830, 1560 in the same forest as the heavy-ball relay. Pick up a round lantern, stand just outside the hoop instead of directly underneath it, aim above the rim, and use an overhead throw so the lantern falls down through the ring. A clean basket advances the visible meter; a miss does nothing. Retrieve the same lantern or use another nearby one and keep scoring until the meter fills and confetti fires. The cross-checked two-player layout required 8 baskets, but use the meter—not a memorized number—because host player count can change the target.
The hoop is at approximately 3830, 1560 in the forest southeast of Red Tower, close to the 3740, 1620 heavy-ball relay. Look for a tall circular hoop with a vertical progress display and loose glowing lanterns nearby.

Travel southeast from Red Tower into the forest and locate the tall hoop and progress display near the heavy-ball puzzle area.
You can see both the ring and a meter that can record several successful throws.

Pick up one of the glowing round lanterns near the hoop. Do not search for a separate basketball; the lantern is the scoring object.
The shooter is holding a round glowing lantern and can still face the hoop clearly.

Stand a short distance in front of the hoop. Leave enough space for an upward arc; throwing from directly below tends to hit the underside or travel backward.
The full ring is visible above the reticle with open sky or trees behind it.

Use an overhead throw aimed slightly above the centre of the hoop. Release so the lantern reaches the top of its arc before crossing the rim.
The lantern passes from above the ring to below it and the meter gains one step.

Retrieve the lantern, return to the same mark, and repeat the overhead arc. If the meter does not move, adjust distance or release height before counting the attempt.
Each successful basket adds visible progress instead of relying on the team’s spoken count.

Continue clean baskets until the display is full. Collect the released control-panel piece only after the confetti confirms completion.
Confetti fires at the puzzle and the reward is available to carry back to a tower.
The cross-checked layout used 8 made baskets. Let one player shoot while the other retrieves lanterns and watches the meter.
Use one shooting line and one meter caller; extra players retrieve missed lanterns. The requirement can scale, so finish by the display rather than counting to 8 blindly.
